 In the next five years the agency’s intervention will focus on the following key themes identified in MOVE SL’s strategic plan. The information on the brochure reflects MOVE-SL’s approach to poverty eradication and the enhancement of poor and excluded peoples right and dignity.

 

1.Women’s Rights

 

· Strengthen the capacities of women and girls to claim their rights and meet their basic needs.

 

 · Protection of women against violence.

 

 · Participation in governance and decision making.

 

 · Building and strengthening women’s groups into networks and coalitions.

 

 · Advocate and campaign for laws, policies and practice that advance and protect women and children rights.

 

  ·   Raises consciousness and change attitudes so   that men and women relates to each other equals.
